Olga returns from a business tripa day earlyonly to find her husband Eduard in bed with Zhanna, their son’s teacher. After they argue, Olga runs out of the house and stumbles upon the teacher's body in the courtyard. The causeof Zhanna's death is unknown, but Eduard is sure of one thing: their family does not need any publicity. After all, he is a high-ranking official in the mayor's office, and their son Senya is friends with Zhanna's daughter. Eduard persuades Olga to take the body into the city. When it is found, no one will connect the woman’s death to their family. But the body disappears without a trace. And the life of Eduard and Olga, already aggravated by betrayal, turns into a living hell. The whole city is looking for Zhanna. Olga is suffering from remorse, their son begins to suspect his father, an innocent man is arrested and accused of the murder, and then Igor, who is in love with Olga, blackmails her and her husband. Olga and Eduard are desperate and ready to confess to everything, because they cannot allow an innocent man to suffer... but then fishermen discover Zhanna's body.
